2. Composition/information on ingredients

A blend of highest quality surface active agents, alkalis, builders and stabilising agents.

Contains <20% Sodium Metasilicate (Na2SiO3) - CAS No. 6834-92-0 - EINECS No. 229-912-9

Dri-Decon is a finely milled, dry white powder, having faint odour.

Xi - irritant May cause irritation to skin, especially if exposure is prolonged.
May cause severe eye irritation.
May cause irritation to respiratory system.

4. First-aid measures

In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean, flowing water and seek immediate medical attention.

In case of contact with skin, rinse immediately with plenty of clean, flowing water.
Seek medical attention if there is persistent irritation.

If ingested, drink copious amounts of fresh water and seek immediate medical attention.
Do not promote vomiting.

5. Fire-fighting measures

Use extinguisher suitable to the cause of the fire.

6. Accidental release measures

Transfer to a suitable container by scoop or similar implement.
Dispose of in accordance with local authority guidelines.
Small spillages may be flushed away with plenty of water to a drain or sewer.

7. Handling and storage

Avoid contact with skin and eyes and avoid breathing dust.

Use glass, ceramic, plastic (not polycarbonate) or stainless steel vessels for working solutions

Keep the product dry. Store at ambient temperature, out of direct sunlight, sealed in the container in which it is supplied, and away from strong acids and aluminium.

Stored correctly, Dri-Decon has a shelf life of 5 years.

Wear eye protection, rubber gloves and a dust mask when handling.

Clothes may be protected with man-made fibre over-garments.
