2. Composition/information on ingredients

A precise blend of highest quality anionic and non-ionic surface active agents in an aqueous polyhydric alcohol base, producing a near neutral (pH7+/-) concentrate.

Decon Neutracon is a pale yellow, viscous liquid concentrate, having faint odour.

4. First-aid measures

In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean, flowing water and seek immediate medical attention.

In case of contact with skin, rinse immediately with plenty of clean, flowing water.
Seek medical attention if there is persistent irritation.

If ingested, drink copious amounts of fresh water and seek immediate medical attention.
Do not promote vomiting.

5. Fire-fighting measures

Use extinguisher suitable to the cause of the fire.
6. Accidental release measures

Absorb large spillages with sand or any suitable medium.
Dispose of in accordance with local authority guidelines.
Small spillages may be flushed away with plenty of water to a drain or sewer.
7. Handling and storage

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Use glass, ceramic, plastic or stainless steel vessels for working solutiuons.

Store the concentrate at ambient temperature, out of direct sunlight, sealed in the container in which it is supplied.

Stored correctly, Decon Neutracon has a shelf-life of 5 years.

8. Exposure controls/personal protection

Prolonged use of the product warrants protection of the hands to avoid excessive degreasing.
Wear eye protection and rubber gloves when handling.
Clothes may be protected with man-made fibre over-garments.

Melting point -25ºC (product is a liquid).
Boiling point 102.1ºC.
Density 1.019 at 20ºC.
Vapour pressure 16.1 mm Hg at 20ºC.
Evaporation rate 0.40 (butyl acetate = 1).
Viscosity 55.0 cps at 23ºC.
Solubility   Totally soluble in water.
Compatible with organic solvents.
pH value The concentrate has a pH of pH7.3 typically.
